Ingredients:
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons grape seed oil
- ¼ cup "juice" from cooked beets
- 12 small beets, peeled, sliced or diced
Preparation:
1. Steam beets 5 minutes. Set aside.
2. Mix the first 5 ingredients and boil 5 minutes, stirring.
3. Add beets and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
We can also make this recipe with a mixture of vegetables and beet roots.
