An elegant two-tone salad with well balanced flavours.
Ingredients :
- 1 lb (454 g) green beans
- 1 can (398 ml) of sliced hearts of palm, drained
- 1/2 block of salted marinated tofu
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 / 4 cup olive oil
- Juice of half lime
- 1 / 2 tablespoons tamari sauce or Bragg
Preparation:
1. Steam the beans a few minutes (they should remain crisp). Cool under cold water.
2. Prepare the vinaigrette: In small bowl, mix the olive oil, lime juice and sauce Bragg.
3. In a large bowl, combine green beans, hearts of palm and marinated tofu. Add the avocado to the very end and mix gently.
4. Drizzle a little vinaigrette (you probably will not need all the dressing : if you have any left, it will be verty good to accompany a green salad).
